Dr. Michelle Jones - Changemaker

Dr Michelle Jones is a respected social worker and researcher, driven to create real change. She challenges the status quo, tackles complex social issues, and focuses on systems change to create lasting impact.

An academic at UniSA and Flinders, Michelle’s work spans research projects, publications, keynote presentations, and her podcast Game Changers and Change Makers: Leaders in Social Work – a series of raw, honest conversations with social work leaders exploring what’s worked, what’s been challenging and what keeps them motivated.

We worked with Michelle to shape a cohesive identity that brings together her work, her values and her bold vision for social work. The result is a compelling brand that reflects who she is and what she stands for. Affectionately known as ‘Chelle’, the shell became a central motif in the identity we developed - representing listening, truth-telling and protection. These qualities are at the heart of Michelle’s approach to people, stories and systems. The brandmark builds on this symbolism: concentric rings reflect the many layers of her work – research, teaching, podcasting – and speak to growth, adaptability and emotional intelligence. The abstract form, inspired by a deconstructed and reimagined shell, echoes Michelle’s approach to breaking down complex ideas and reframing them as meaningful insights.

The identity is bold, thoughtful and a little unexpected. It’s a brand that challenges assumptions, invites new thinking, and empowers others to create meaningful change.
